There were 234 new cases of covid registered in Sicily in the last 24 hours (yesterday there were 337). The dead were instead 8 (yesterday 5) and so the total number of Sicilian victims of the virus rises to 5,871.

This is what can be seen from the covid bulletin of 5 June of the Ministry of Health.

Overall, there are 441 people in the hospital (yesterday they were 454), of which 45 in intensive care (yesterday they were 45) with 3 new entrants and 396 in the medical area (yesterday 409).
649 were healed and therefore at the moment there are 7,895 positives in Sicily (-423) of which 7,454 in home isolation.
The swabs processed were 15,110 (yesterday 14,542) and therefore the positivity rate stood at 1.68% (yesterday 2.31%).

ITALY. There are 2,436 new cases of covid found today in Italy after the analysis of 238,632 swabs, with the positivity index at 1%. In the last 24 hours there have been 57 deaths, down from 73 yesterday, bringing the total number of victims to 126,472 since the beginning of the pandemic.
Intensive care admissions are still decreasing, 788 (-48 from yesterday), 5,193 are ordinary hospitalizations (-295 since yesterday), 3,908,312 recovered (+7,200) and 195,369 currently positive (-4,823).
