Loris Dominissini died from Covid

The former Udinese player and coach Loris Dominissini died today at the hospital of San Vito al Tagliamento, due to the consequences of Covid-19. The 59-year-old was first admitted to the hospital in Udine and then transferred to that of San Vito al Tagliamento.

Growing up in the Udinese youth sector with which he won the historic Scudetto Primavera in 1981, Dominissini played with Zico’s Eighties team and then wore the jerseys of Triestina, Pordenone, Messina, Pistoiese, Reggiana, Sevegliano and Pro Gorizia. As a coach he was on the Juventus bench as the second of Nestor Sensini in 2006 but his masterpiece was at the helm of Como, brought from C1 to Serie A with a double jump between 2000 and 2001.
