Palermo – In Sicily, the infection from Covid dates back to yesterday: it went from 254 to 337 new positives out of 14,542 swabs processed. The data is reported from bulletin of the Ministry of Health drawn up in the last 24 hours. The current positives drop to 8,318 (445 less than yesterday), while the victims in a single day were 5 (5,863 since the beginning of the health emergency) and 777 healed. Of the current positives, 409 patients are hospitalized with symptoms. while 45 patients are in intensive care.

There are 73 deaths from Covid recorded in the last 24 hours (yesterday there were 59). The positives were 2,557, up from 1,968 yesterday. In total, the cases since the beginning of the epidemic are 4,227,719, the deaths 126,415. The discharged and healed are instead 3,901,112, with an increase of 7,853 compared to yesterday, while the currently positive drop to 200,192, down by 5,370 in the last 24 hours. There are 220,939 molecular and antigenic swabs for the coronavirus carried out in the last 24 hours in Italy. Yesterday there were 97,633. The positivity rate is 1.1, down from 2% yesterday (-0.9). 836 patients are hospitalized in
intensive care for Covid in Italy, with a decrease of 56 compared to yesterday in the daily balance between entries and exits. The daily admissions, according to data from the Ministry of Health, were 22 (yesterday they were 24). The hospitalized with symptoms in the ordinary wards are 5,488, down by 229 units compared to yesterday (when the drop was 141). There are 193,868 people in home isolation, down by 5,085 compared to yesterday.
