Covid Italy, the bulletin today 3 June 2021. There are 59 deaths from Covid recorded in the last 24 hours (yesterday there were 62). The positives were 1,968, down from 2,897 yesterday, according to data from the Ministry of Health. The positivity rate is 2%, up from 1.2% yesterday.

The total number of cases since the beginning of the epidemic is 4,225,163, while the deaths are 126,342. The discharged and healed are instead 3,893,259, with an increase of 6,392 compared to yesterday, while the currently positive drop to 205,562, down by 4,488 in the last 24 hours.

There are 892 patients hospitalized in intensive care for Covid in Italy. With a decrease of 41 compared to yesterday in the daily balance between income and expenses. The daily admissions, according to data from the Ministry of Health, were 24 (yesterday they were 33). The hospitalized with symptoms in the ordinary wards are 5,717, down by 141 units compared to yesterday (when the drop was 334).

LOMBARDY – There are 277 new cases of Covid in Lombardy, where 14,750 swabs were made: the ratio between tests and infections is 1.8%. The number of people admitted to intensive care, who are 193, fell below 200, and those in other departments below 1000, for a total of 942. Two data “of significant symbolic value” for the president of the region Attilio Fontana: “Let’s not let our guard down , we continue – is his invitation – to respect the rules and we look to the future with moderate optimism ». There are 7 deaths, for a total of 33,637 since the beginning of the pandemic. As for the provinces, there are 53 new cases in Milan, of which 24 in the city, while there are 46 in Bergamo, 62 in Brescia, 14 in Como, 5 in Cremona, 13 in Lecco, 7 in Lodi, 19 in Mantua, 6 in Monza and Brianza, 13 in Pavia, 19 in Sondrio and 13 in Varese.

CAMPANIA – The positivity index remains rather stable in Campania. According to data from the Crisis Unit of the Campania Region, there are 218 positive cases for Covid in the last 24 hours out of 5692 molecular swabs examined. A number of tests significantly lower than usual since yesterday was a public holiday: hence the consequential increase in the positivity index which passes from 2.98% to 3.82%. Eight deaths – 6 in the last 48 hours and two previously but recorded yesterday – and 789 people recovered. With regard to the situation in hospitals, hospitalizations in intensive care (yesterday 55 and today 54) and more clearly in hospitalization (yesterday 624 and today 594) are decreasing.

LAZIO – To date, in Lazio there are 14,698 current positive cases of Covid-19, of which 13,721 are in home isolation. While 977 people are hospitalized, 134 of whom are in intensive care. VENETO – Covid data in continuous decline in Veneto. In the last 24 hours, 63 new infections and 2 deaths have been recorded, for a total, respectively, of 423,671 infected since the beginning of the epidemic and 11,574 victims. The bulletin of the Region reports it. Patients with Covid hospitalized are 611 (-3), of which 539 (-4) in non-critical areas, and 72 (+1) in intensive care. The number of subjects currently positive and in isolation also decreases, 7,700 (-52).

TUSCANY – In Tuscany there are 186 new cases of Covid positivity (180 confirmed with molecular swab and 6 by rapid antigen test), which bring the total number to 241,929 since the beginning of the coronavirus health emergency. New cases are 0.1% more than the previous day’s total. The healed grew by 0.2% and reached 228,399 (94.4% of total cases). Today there are 7 new deaths: 2 men and 5 women with an average age of 76.6 years.

PUGLIA – Today in Puglia, out of 2,931 tests analyzed, 44 Coronavirus positive cases have been identified, for an incidence of 1.5%, halved compared to that of the last few days. In addition, 9 deaths were recorded today. The new positives were identified 8 in the province of Bari, 21 in the province of Brindisi, 3 in the province of BAT, 2 in the province of Foggia, 13 in the province of Lecce; 3 cases of unknown province of residence were reclassified and attributed. The 9 deaths are distributed 6 in the province of Bari, 2 in the province of Brindisi, 1 in the province of Foggia.

MARKET – In one day 35 coronavirus positive detected in the Marche based on 420 new diagnosis tests (8.3%): 15 in the province of Ancona, 12 in the province of Pesaro Urbino, four in Ascolano, two in the Macerata area, one in the province from Fermo and one from outside the region. The cases include contacts in the home setting (8), close contacts of positive cases (9), in the work setting (1), contacts involving students of all educational levels (4). For another 3 cases, epidemiological investigations are still being carried out.

ABRUZZO – A total of 74,151 positive cases of Covid-19 have been registered in Abruzzo since the beginning of the emergency. Compared to yesterday, there are 10 new cases, 3 of which are under 19 years old. The death toll rises to 2,486 with 2 new cases (a 98 year old from the province of Chieti and an 80 year old from the province of Teramo). The number of positive cases also includes 66,387 discharged / healed (+60 compared to yesterday). The currently positives in Abruzzo (calculated by subtracting the number of discharged / recovered and deceased from the total of positives) are 5278 (-53 compared to yesterday).

UMBRIA – There are six new Covid cases recorded in Umbria on the last day. Arisen from the analysis of 296 swabs and 244 antigenic tests, according to the Region’s website. The positivity rate is therefore 1.1 per cent on the total (0.7 the previous day) and 2 per cent on the molecular alone (it was 1.78). Also on the last day there are no new victims and 21 recovered. The current positives are now 1,382, 15 less in the last 24 hours. The picture of hospitalized patients was substantially stable, 61 overall, one less, seven of whom in intensive care, a stable figure.

BASILICATA – Three of the 164 swabs analyzed in the last 24 hours in Basilicata were positive: this was announced by the regional task force, adding that, yesterday, 5,960 vaccinations were carried out in the region. In addition, 43 other people residing in Basilicata have overcome the disease. In total, 339,692 doses of vaccine were administered to 553,254 residents in the region.

VALLE D’AOSTA – No deaths and 2 new infections from Covid 19 in Valle d’Aosta which bring the overall total of people affected by the virus from the beginning of the epidemic to 11,611. The data are contained in the health update bulletin of the Region according to which the current positives are 182, down by 22 units compared to yesterday. Of these, five are hospitalized and 177 in home isolation. No ICU hospitalization.

FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA – Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia out of a total of 1,727 tests and swabs, 6 positivity to Covid 19 were found, equal to 0.34%. In detail, from the analysis of 1,186 molecular swabs, 1 new infection was detected, for a positive percentage of 0.08%; from 541 rapid antigenic tests 5 cases (0.92%). Today there are two deaths. The admissions to intensive care units drop to one (-1) while those in other departments are 38 (+2). The total deaths amounted to 3,790.
