There are 289 new coronavirus cases in Sicily, down from 326 yesterday. The tests carried out in the last 24 hours are almost 13,571, with the positivity rate that remains more or less unchanged, passing from 2 to 2.1%. The Region is in third place in Italy for the number of daily infections.

The daily deaths are 16, making the total rise to 5,855, the healed 1,063. In hospitals there are 468, 39 fewer patients than yesterday, those in intensive care are 47, 9 fewer than in the previous bulletin.

This is the distribution of the new infected by province: 112 in Catania, 37 in Messina, 31 in Palermo, 30 in Agrigento, 25 in Syracuse, 25 in Ragusa, 13 in Enna, 8 in Trapani, 8 in Caltanissetta.

In Italy there are 62 deaths from Covid recorded in the last 24 hours (yesterday there were 93). The positives were 2,897, a slight increase from yesterday’s 2,483.

There are 226,272 molecular and antigenic swabs carried out in the last 24 hours (yesterday they were 221,818). The positivity rate is 1.2%, stable compared to 1.1% yesterday.

There are 933 patients admitted to intensive care for Covid, with a decrease of 56 compared to yesterday in the daily balance between entries and exits. The daily admissions were 33 (yesterday there were 41). The hospitalized with symptoms in the ordinary wards are 5,858, down 334 units compared to yesterday (when the drop was 290).

In total, the cases since the beginning of the epidemic are 4,223,200, the deaths 126,283. The discharged and healed are instead 3,886,867, with an increase of 18,535 compared to yesterday, while the currently positive drop to 210,050, down by 15,701 in the last 24 hours.
