The coronavirus contagion in Sicily returns to retreat. In the island, in the last 24 hours, 289 new positives were recorded out of 13,571 swabs processed, with an incidence of 2.1%. The Region is in third place in Italy for the number of daily infections. The victims were 16, bringing the total to 5,855. The number of current positives is 8,698 with a decrease of 790 cases. The healed are 1,063. In hospitals there are 468, 39 fewer patients than yesterday, those in intensive care are 47, 9 fewer than in the previous bulletin.

There are 933 patients hospitalized in intensive care for Covid in Italy. With a decrease of 56 compared to yesterday in the daily balance between income and expenses. The daily admissions, according to data from the Ministry of Health, were 33 (yesterday they were 41). The hospitalized with symptoms in the ordinary wards are 5,858, down 334 units compared to yesterday (when the drop was 290)
