Covid: 62 deaths, down from yesterday, and 2,897 positives – Last Hour

(ANSA) – ROME, 02 JUN – There are 62 deaths from Covid recorded in the last 24 hours (yesterday there were 93). The positives were 2,897, a slight increase compared to the 2,483 yesterday, according to data from the Ministry of Health. In total, the cases since the beginning of the epidemic are 4,223,200, the deaths 126,283. The discharged and healed are instead 3,886,867, with an increase of 18,535 compared to yesterday, while the currently positive drop to 210,050, down by 15,701 in the last 24 hours.

There are 933 patients admitted to intensive care with a decrease of 56 compared to yesterday in the daily balance between entries and exits. The daily admissions were 33 (yesterday there were 41). The hospitalized with symptoms in the ordinary wards are 5,858, down 334 units compared to yesterday (when the drop was 290).

Finally, there are 226,272 molecular and antigenic swabs for the coronavirus carried out in the last 24 hours in Italy. Yesterday there were 221,818. The positivity rate is 1.2%, stable compared to 1.1% yesterday. (HANDLE).
