In Puglia, 196 new cases of Covid have been identified, according to the epidemiological bulletin of the Region referred to June 2, 2021. In particular, on 5,957 tests, a positive rate of 3.29% was detected, a slight increase compared to 2.69% last Thursday in similar conditions from an epidemiological point of view but with a much higher number of tests (8,797).
In detail, there were 44 new cases in the province of Bari, 23 in the province of Brindisi, 49 in the Bat, 38 in the province of Foggia, 38 in the province of Lecce, 21 in the province of Taranto, 1 case of resident outside the region. 18 cases of unknown province of residence were reclassified and attributed.
10 deaths were recorded: 2 in the province of Bari, 4 in the province of Lecce, 4 in the province of Taranto. 2,507,146 tests have been carried out since the beginning of the emergency. To date, 221,900 patients are cured while 22,424 are currently positive cases (yesterday they were 23,777): The decline in hospitalized patients continues to an altitude of 540 (minus 15 compared to the last survey yesterday)
The total of positive Covid cases in Puglia is 250,842 divided as follows: 94,596 in the province of Bari, 19,321 in the Bat, 25,306 in the province of Brindisi, 44,814 in the province of Foggia, 26,545 in the province of Lecce, 39,084 in the province of Taranto, 800 attributed to residents outside the region, 376 province of residence not known.
