MEADOW. The death of a 47-year-old man found in the room of a landlord on the outskirts of Prato is perhaps due to untreated Covid-19 or a mistaken ingestion of drugs. The victim is a man of Chinese origin irregular in the territory and, to find him lifeless on the evening of Monday 31 May, were some compatriots who had never seen or heard from him. The man was lying on the bed but without injuries or other signs that could suggest a blow or a violent death. Around him, however, there were many drugs, all with Chinese writings for which the carabinieri, who are carrying out the necessary investigations, and the ambulance doctor could not establish what treatment he was taking them for.

What, however, was immediately clarified, is that the man was positive for Covid. The drugs could have been provided to him by a friend just when the victim, doing the swab, discovered that he was sick with Covid. It seems that the man had to serve the quarantine in another domicile together with other compatriots who perhaps did not want him because he was irregular. However, it will be the autopsy, ordered by the deputy attorney on duty Valentina Cosci, to establish the causes of death. The drugs have been seized and could unravel the mystery.
