New cases of Covid in decline in Sardinia, but the positivity rate rises again and reaches almost 5% (yesterday it was 2.3%).

There are also four new victims, while the number of patients admitted to hospitals increases.

Here is the full bulletin of April 1, 2021: “A total of 45,854 cases of positive Covid-19 have been ascertained in Sardinia since the beginning of the emergency. In the latest update of the Regional Crisis Unit 351 new cases were detected (yesterday they were 444, ed.) A total of 1,012,513 swabs were performed, for an overall increase of 7,247 tests compared to the previous figure. The positive cases-swabs performed ratio marks a positive rate of 4.8% for the island.

There are four new deaths (1,238 in all, yesterday only one was recorded, ed). On the other hand, 236 patients are currently hospitalized in non-intensive wards (+14), while 34 patients remain in intensive care. There are 14,384 people in home isolation. The healed are a total of 29,770 (+90), while the people declared clinically healed on the island are currently 192.

On the territory, of the 45,854 positive cases ascertained overall, 11,580 (+125) were detected in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari, 7,119 (+47) in Southern Sardinia, 3,797 (+13) in Oristano, 9,053 (+80) in Nuoro, 14,305 (+86) in Sassari “.
