He dies after hospitalization. Angelo Parente at 35, suffering from down syndrome, he had been hospitalized due to a form of leukemia in the hospital in Rome, but right inside the facility he has contract the Covid which according to the family may have aggravated the clinical picture. Angelo struggled between life and death for 15 days until the disease prevailed, but today the mother asks for justice and wants to clarify the death of her son.

Angelo had arrived at the emergency room of the Gemelli Polyclinic in Rome after a specialist visit from Caserta for a suspected lymphoma. The man was hospitalized but after 15 days he lost his battle for life. According to the hospital, he died of leukemia, but his mother Teresa filed a complaint adding that in those days of hospitalization, Angelo had contracted Covid in the hospital. The woman wonders if the virus may have worsened her condition and today she asks for justice.
After hospitalization, according to the mother, she and her son would have been abandoned, Teresa tells FanPage that she had had the tampon with Angelo and that they had negative results: “She had chest pains, burning, fire told me, ‘mamma I have the fire here and he touched his chest. It felt hot I held a fan and waved it night and day. I began to see that the saturation was going down, but nobody came and then I screamed, I pulled a lot, a lot, a lot, and a nurse came only then maybe they realized ».
The hospital management says they are sorry for the incident which they specify is due to a severe and aggressive form of leukemia. Now, however, tests will be carried out to understand whether the virus has worsened the clinical picture or not.
