Covid: 19 gatherings dissolved in Rome, 2 fines, 806 controlled

(ANSA) – ROME, DECEMBER 05 – Controls continue as yesterday to respect the use of masks and avoid gatherings, especially in the central area of ​​Rome, on the Roman coast, in parks and villas. The checks were arranged with a special service order of the Quaestor, according to the indications that emerged in the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Safety in the Prefecture and the subsequent Technical Tables. At the end of the anti-gathering services, set up in Piazza del Popolo, Piazza di Spagna, the so-called Tridente, in piazza Cola di Rienzo and via Cola di Rienzo, via Candia, via Ottaviano and via Giulio Cesare, in viale Libia and viale Eritrea, piazza Gimma, piazza Annibaliano and surrounding areas, where personnel of the State Police, of the ‘Arma dei Carabinieri, the Guardia di Finanza, the Roma Capitale Local Police and the Civil Protection, a total of 806 people and 28 green passes were checked. In addition, 19 gatherings were dissolved, 2 penalties were raised for violations envisaged by the anti-Covid 19 legislation, 44 commercial establishments and 20 vehicles were checked.

During the checks no particular criticalities emerged, despite the massive presence of people and tourists dedicated to shopping. (HANDLE).
