132 new cases in the Bergamo area, with the incidence substantially stable around 71.

On Saturday the Lombard patients reached 1,045 (+19), of which 121 in intensive care (+7) and 924 in the ordinary wards (+12). In Bergamo there are now 60 Covid patients (+4). Of the 19 deaths reported on Saturday in Lombardy, one concerned the province of Bergamo.

There are 16,632 new cases of Coronavirus in Italy (Friday 17,030) compared to 588,445 swabs carried out out of a total of 121,173,417 since the beginning of the emergency. This is what we read in today’s bulletin of the Ministry of Health – Higher Institute of Health. In the last 24 hours there have been 75 deaths (yesterday 74), bringing the total of victims since the beginning of the pandemic to 134,152. With those of today, the total cases of Covid in Italy become 5,094,072. Currently the positives are 223,718 (+7,564), 210,061 people in home isolation. 5,385 people were hospitalized with symptoms, of which 708 in intensive care. The discharged / healed are 4,736,202 with an increase of 8,988 units in the last 24 hours.

The region with the highest number of new cases in the last 24 hours is Lombardy (2,990), then Veneto (2,560), Lazio (1,832), Emilia Romagna (1,610) and Campania (1,216).
