(ANSA) – LONDON, 02 DEC – Over 50,000 (almost 54,000 in the last 24 hours, peak since October 18) are back in the number of Covid infections recorded in the United Kingdom and still fueled by the Delta variant. Official data certify this, however confirming – in parallel with a relaunch of vaccines to 500,000 a day, including 400,000 doses of booster reinforcement, and pending the impact of the Omicron variant so far identified on the island on a few dozen people – a trend towards decrease in both deaths on a weekly basis (141 today), and total hospital admissions: down to 7600, with a constant reduction in the curve for a month.
