In the last 24 hours, 5,144 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in Italy, while yesterday they were 7,569. The swabs carried out are 248,825, against 445,593 yesterday. The percentage of positives considering the total of swabs – therefore molecular more antigenic rapid – is 2.1% (yesterday it was 1.7%). 44 deaths, 17 more beds occupied in intensive care. This is the picture that emerges from the bulletin of the Ministry of Health of 15 November (LIVE UPDATES – SPECIAL – GRAPHICS).

Covid and Green pass, how reliable are rapid tampons?

In Italy, since the beginning of the pandemic, the people who have tested positive for the coronavirus, including healed and deceased, are 4,865,260. There are 132,819 victims in total, with 44 deaths reported in the latest bulletin. The healed are 4,611,566 in total. Patients with symptoms are 3,808 (+161). On the other hand, 116,592 people are in home isolation. The swabs totaled 111,051,082 – of which 64,929,977 were processed with molecular tests and 46,121,105 with rapid antigen tests -, an increase of 248,825 compared to November 14. So far 36,911,565 people have been tested, net of how many swabs they have done.

The notes of the bulletin

The Friuli Venezia Giulia region announces that the total number of positive cases has been reduced by 1 following a positive test removed after review of the case, furthermore a case previously reported as a case confirmed by molecular test, after verification, has been reclassified as a confirmed case from antigen test. The Campania region announces that following the daily checks, it appears that two deaths registered today date back to 11/12/2021. The Liguria region announces that data not previously transmitted has been recovered today due to technical problems of an IT nature. In particular, 11 cases with the first positive date of 11 November and 45 cases with the first positive date of 12 November 2021 have been reported today. The Public Administration of Bolzano communicates 233 new positives, 87 derive from antigen tests confirmed by molecular tests . The Sicily region announces that the deaths reported today refer to the following days: N. 1 on 11/14/21 – N. 2 on 11/13/21. The Veneto region announces that some cases confirmed by antigen tests having been subsequently confirmed by molecular tests have been reclassified among the latter.
