(ANSA) – MOSCOW, OCTOBER 17 – Russia has recorded a new record of 34,303 cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, the highest level since the beginning of the pandemic and the fourth consecutive, this time accompanied by 997 deaths after 1,002 Friday, the maximum since the start of the pandemic.

This is what emerges from the official government data released today, according to which the total death toll in the country thus rises to 223,312, the highest in Europe.

In Russia, only 32% of the population is fully vaccinated. (HANDLE).
