He was 65 and was a no vax. She, the same age, after the serious bereavement decided to run for cover, and here she is in via nino Bixio, sitting on a chair in the snake of the Civil Protection.
“My husband died of Covid on September 2nd, he was a no vax. Since his death I have convinced myself to get the vaccine ”.

And here she is, she and her son, lined up early in the morning to receive the anti Covid vaccine. A decision made after the death of her husband, a victim of the virus.

She tells of her missing husband and from time to time her voice stops with emotion. In moments when the pain has the upper hand, the son, Andrea, intervenes. He is sitting next to his mother. He drove her to the hub, but Andrea was already vaccinated before her dad got sick.

“I don’t know if the vaccine has blocked the infection, but I only know that I have never caught the virus and I am convinced that we must have faith in science”, the boy says.

“My father was a staunch no vax – continues – When he contracted the disease we were all confident, even the doctors reassured us, but then he became seriously ill and didn’t make it ”.

At this point in the story the mother intervenes who, with the microphones off, says to Andrea: “Launch an appeal also for your brother who does not want to vaccinate. Tell them that you have to vaccinate ”.

Sign of a fracture that is not only within a family, but also within a country.
