Virus in retreat or almost even in Sicily. And if obviously we must not let our guard down, it must be said that the numbers of the covid bulletin of 21 September of the Ministry of Health say that in Sicily there were “only” 492 new infections (compared to 514 yesterday) but with many more swabs (17,814 against 12,507 and a positivity rate that passes from 4.1% to 2.76%).

And the good news does not come only from the front of the new infections, but also from the hospital front: there are a total of 736 hospitalized in Sicily (yesterday they were 756), of which 646 in the medical area (yesterday they were 660) and 90 in intensive care (yesterday 96) with 4 new entries.

The deaths marked by the bulletin are 23 but these are recounting of recent days (and the total number of Sicilian victims which reaches 6,723.
