Rome, 16 September 2021 – The extension of the Super Green Pass to all categories of workers – private or public that they are – brings with it numerous collateral themes after the government signature on the decree that from 15 October will make green certification mandatory for all public and private workers. Between yesterday and today the confrontation between the government, regions and trade unions has become very heated on the subject of tampons, especially after the unions had them asked for gratuity and Draghi replied spades (here the details on the cost of the tests).
Super Green pass: the guide
But today during the control room some Regions have made a request: namely to extend the validity of the buffer from 48 to 72 hours. The reason is obvious: the Green pass is obtained not only with vaccination or recovery from Covid within the previous six months, but also by showing a swab made in the Previous 48 hours that gives a negative result. Clear that extend the validity to 72 hours it goes to meet those who are not vaccinated and swabs to get green certification. So a buffer that would last an extra day.
The government accepted the request of the Regions and decided to formulate a question to the Scientific Technical Committee.
And during the council of ministers which then unanimously approved the new decree, the minister of economic development, the Northern League Giancarlo Giorgetti, asked that precisely the molecular buffer for the purposes of the Green pass is increased from 48 to 72 hours.
The Minister of Health at the press conference Roberto Speranza he has already gone further and made it known that the government has given favorable opinion to an amendment to the decree bis in the Constitutional Affairs Commission in the Chamber to lengthen the duration of validity to 72 hours however limited to testing molecular, while the antigenic ones should remain at 48 hours.
