(ANSA) – ROME, AUGUST 01 – YouTube banned Sky News Australia for a week after the publication on the web giant of a series of contents that created “disinformation” about Covid-19, such as those that denied the existence of the pandemic or encouraged the use of drugs considered dangerous such as hydroxychloroquine or hurled heavy insults at doctors, scientists or politicians. The Guardian reports it.
The censorship, launched on Thursday, also hit the Australian Daily Telegraph, which closed the controversial column of commentator Alan Jones who had among other things branded the head of health of the state of New South Wales as a “village idiot”. (HANDLE).
