The San Marino citizens, mostly vaccinated with Sputnik, purchased directly from the Government of the Titan, will have difficulty accessing Italy from 6 August to the places where the new decree provides for the use of the green pass. Not because they do not have a medical pass, but because this is not recognized by Italy. At the news of Rome’s decision to introduce the green pass for restaurants and a large number of places indoors, but also outdoors such as theme parks, in San Marino, despite the massive vaccination campaign and the almost total immunization of the population with the Russian serum, concern grew.
“The San Marino green pass will have a European value”, was quick to reassure the Foreign Secretary, Luca Beccari through the microphones of state television. But there has not yet been a firm ruling from the European authorities. “The recent statements in which it is claimed that a member country of the US cannot accept green passes relating to vaccines that are not EMA approved”, he adds, “are surprising.” For Beccari the problem is between the EU and Sputnik but the crux of entry remains, for the San Marino citizens, in structures such as indoor restaurants and other services from 6 August. “Mobility to and from San Marino – he remembers
finally – it is guaranteed as the Titan is in band A “.
