GONZAGA.A sudden illness killed the life a Fabio Bigi, 64 years old, farmer, who lives in strada Roncobonoldo 2 just outside Gonzaga. The funeral will take place on Wednesday 23 June at 9 am starting from the house for the church of Palidano. After the mass, the body will be buried in the Palidano cemetery. The man got up early in the morning but complained of a pain in his chest that had not passed him during the morning. Despite this, around 1pm, at a time when the heat was very intense, he still wanted to go to the countryside to operate the sprinklers. It was at that moment that the 64-year-old fell ill.
The call to 118 was immediate and an ambulance from the Cri Unit of Suzzara and a self-medic, whose resuscitators did everything to try to save the life of the farmer, intervened on the spot. The helicopter rescue from Parma had also been alerted, which landed in a field, but unfortunately the aircraft had to return to the base without being able to perform any intervention. A patrol from the Radiomobile Nucleus of Gonzaga also arrived on the spot and closed the road to allow rescue operations. Unfortunately for Fabio Bigi, despite a long and prolonged heart massage, there was nothing to do. The news of the sudden death of the 64-year-old immediately spread to Palidano and Gonzaga in a short time, arousing disbelief and bewilderment among fellow farmers and friends. The body is currently in the house in Roncobonoldo 2 street. Fabio Bigi leaves his wife Gabriella and his brother Roberto with Roberta in pain.
