The Prime Minister, Mario Draghi, signed the Decree that defines the procedures for issuing the Covid-19 digital green certificates that will facilitate participation in public events, access to health care facilities (RSA) and travel throughout the country.
With the signing of the Dpcm – informs Palazzo Chigi in a note – the conditions for the operation of the EU Regulation on the “Green Pass” are also realized, which starting from 1 July will guarantee the full interoperability of the digital certifications of all countries. of the Union.
HOW IT IS OBTAINED – A national digital platform has been set up for the issue and validation of the certification, but in general it will be possible to use different tools to use the pass: both the dedicated website, which can be accessed both through digital identity and with the multi-factor authentication, but also the electronic health record, the Io app, the Immuni app and the Ts system through authorized healthcare professionals.
The certification is automatically issued in digital and printable format. When the certification is available, you receive a message via sms or email, to the contacts communicated at the time of the vaccine or test or issue of the certificate of recovery; the message contains an authentication code (authcode) and brief instructions to recover the certification.
ALSO IN THE PHARMACY – New is the possibility of obtaining the green Covid-19 certification even in pharmacies. As an alternative to the digital version, underlines Palazzo Chigi, the documents can be requested from your general practitioner, pediatrician or pharmacy, using your own health card.
ACTIVE SITE – The dgc.gov.it site for the Green pass is operational as of today. All certifications associated with vaccinations carried out until June 17 will be made available by June 28. The national IT platform dedicated to issuing certifications – explain the same sources – will be progressively aligned with the new vaccinations.
For all information you can contact the toll-free number of the Immuni App 800.91.24.91, active every day from 8.00 to 20.00. The green certification will be available for viewing and printing on a PC, tablet or smartphone.
WHO CAN REQUEST IT – The certificate is available to anyone who has undergone an anti Covid-19 vaccine, is cured of the infection or reports a negative result to the “rapid molecular or antigen test, performed within 48 hours”, as the website of the Ministry of Health explains . Those who do not intend to apply for it (it is not mandatory) will still be able to travel freely in the European Union, but must comply with the provisions of the individual states.
You can apply for any vaccine authorized by Ema (Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson). However, individual states may decide to accept other types of vaccines as well. It is enough to have received even the first dose.
HOW DOES IT WORK – The certification contains a QR Code with essential information. Operators authorized to check must only show the QR Code both in the digital version, directly from a smartphone or tablet, and in the paper version.
If the certificate is valid, the verifier will only see a graphic sign on his mobile device (green light) and personal data: name and surname and date of birth. The verifier may also ask to show a valid identity document.
Verification of the authenticity of the certificate is carried out by authorized operators, for example in ports and airports, exclusively through the VerificationC19 app, respecting privacy.
TRANSITIONAL PERIOD – For a transitional period, until 30 June 2021, the documents issued by the ASL, laboratories, doctors and pharmacies certifying the vaccination, the recovery from the infection or the negative result of a molecular or antigenic test carried out in the previous 48 hours they will have the same validity as the green COVID-19 – EU digital covid certificate.
