CALVATONE – A grant of over 46,000 euros for lost land was granted by the Lombardy Region to the Municipality of Calvatone as part of the AxEL call which made funds available for photovoltaic systems and storage systems for local authorities. The municipal administration led by the mayor Valeria Patelli had presented an application with the aim of installing a photovoltaic system with an accumulation system on the roof of the kindergarten. The Axel call provides non-repayable grants in favor of local authorities that build energy-efficient microgrids on their own buildings used for public use.
Now the municipal council has entrusted Studiorinnova Srl of San Giovanni in Croce with the professional assignment for the executive design, construction management, accounting and testing of the installation works of a 12.6 kWp photovoltaic system with storage system from 13.8 Kwh in the kindergarten.
The regional initiative aims to encourage a more efficient use of local renewable energy sources and facilitate self-consumption of energy by public users. The initial financial envelope was 20 million euros. The maximum contribution payable by local authority is equal to 200 thousand euros. For municipalities with a resident population of up to 5,000 inhabitants, a reserve of 5 million euros was allocated. The contribution covers up to 100% of the costs incurred. To follow all the practices is the surveyor Luca Braga, responsible for the technical area.
