On the case of the death of Camilla Canepa, the 18-year-old from Sestri Levante who died after receiving the first dose of AstraZeneca vaccine, Codacons presents today, Saturday 12 June, a complaint to the Public Prosecutor of Genoa asking to register the Minister in the register of suspects of Health Roberto Speranza, Commissioner Francesco Paolo Figliuolo and the competent ASL.

“This is a due act aimed at ascertaining the role played in the affair by the competent bodies – explains the association – With our statement we want to understand if there are responsibilities on the part of the Minister and the Commissioner for having authorized a potentially dangerous vaccination for under 60, and the role of the ASL in managing the administration of the vaccine to the girl and in collecting information on her clinical situation before the injection “.

“The death of Camilla cannot go unpunished, and if errors or omissions emerge, those responsible, at any level, will have to answer for them before justice”, comments President Carlo Rienzi.

Meanwhile, the Codacons, after the chaos over the Astrazeneca vaccinations and the reverse of the Government on the administration to the youngest, today launches a collective action in favor of all the under-60s who have received the vaccine in question, aimed at asking the State, Regions and Asl compensation for non-pecuniary damage for potential health risks. Action which can be joined from Sunday 13 on the website www.codacons.it.
