“The former president of Confindustria Emma Marcegaglia under investigation for VAT evasion of 800 thousand euros: request for indictment”

According to the newspaper, the former president of Confindustria is accused of not having paid VAT for 800mila euro in relation to invoices issued by Alba Tech srl based in Chioggia in favor of the company Albarella srl ​​based in Gazoldo degli Ippoliti, of which it is legal representative the entrepreneur from Mantua.

The invoices would refer to works by cleaning e purification performed in 2007 on the island of Albarella by Alba Tech itself, which according to the accusations has no equipment, capital and capital goods. The prosecution’s accusation is based on an investigation by the Guardia di Finanza which concerned the tax returns of the entrepreneur from 2015 to 2018. “We are able to demonstrate that the accusations made against Emma Marcegaglia, referring to a single contract, are unfounded.
