After 28 years the supersonic planes are back: the American giant United Airlines ordered 15 “Overture” supersonic commercial aircraft from Denver start-up Boom Supersonic. The deal also includes a purchase option for another 35 aircraft. However, jets are still in development. The first flights are expected no earlier than 2029. The plane “can connect more than 500 destinations around the world in almost half the time”. The price for a London-New York ticket will presumably range from $ 5,000 to $ 7,000. Watch the video!
