Everything changed on May 10, when the regional health councilor Alessio D’Amato announced that the recalls of Pfizer fixed after May 17 would have been postponed by two weeks. A new interval. Therefore, no longer at 21 days, but 35. And a few days later those of the messenger Rna drug were also modified. Modern, while on Astrazeneca there have been no changes. Many, however, have managed to have a new appointment. Which can be obtained for specific reasons and within precise time limits. Let’s see which ones.

Vaccini, Zingaretti: «Hubs closed in September, we continue with pharmacies and doctors. Soon table to reopen the discos “

Pfizer – The date of the Pfizer recall in Lazio can be both anticipated and postponed. There are several possibilities for those who are still waiting for the second dose initially scheduled after 21 days. But that now, after the decision of the regional health councilor Alessio D’Amato (which has transposed the ordinance of the Ministry of Health), has been moved to 35. However, it is not a fixed date. Whoever wants, in reality, can change it. How much? It can be brought forward by a week, and therefore taken to 28 days, but also postponed by 7 days, and therefore reclaimed after 42 days. However, there are those who have also managed to modify it by 5 days, anticipating. All these shifts are possible, of course, if there are valid and serious reasons. Not, in fact, for the holidays. On the other hand, the day of the second appointment remains unchanged for all people who have an exemption code (list available here): for them it remains three weeks after the first.

Modern – All bookings for the second dose of Moderna from May 21 onwards have been postponed. The recall of the US vaccine in Lazio is 35 days and no longer 28. Users have been notified via text messages. As for Pfizer, also in this case the date of the second appointment can be moved. The interval is that indicated by the CTS: from 21 to 45 days. We can therefore both anticipate and postpone. But, as indicated by the Region, there must be “serious and proven reasons“. Any examples? A funeral, an intervention or other urgent needs. How much, however, can be anticipated? A maximum of one week: and therefore up to 28 days. Except in the case of the frail (eg cancer patients) who have instead been confirmed the date of the recall at 21 days. For requests, you can call the number of the vaccination center where you must receive the second injection or contact the number 06164161841. You can call from Monday to Friday, from 7.30 to 19.30, and on Saturdays from 7.30 to 13.00.

Astrazeneca – As indicated on the leaflet, the second dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine can be administered within 28 to 84 days from the first administration. While on the Aifa website we read that for the recall it is necessary to wait “at least 10 weeks from the first dose” and that it must be injected “within the twelfth week”.
