For the Milan Stock Exchange it was a flat session, but there was no shortage of points of interest. These themes will be able to return to the fore in the next sessions and represent golden opportunities for those who invest. One title in particular stood out. We talk about it later in the article.
Today in Italy it was a little moved session for the holiday. The stock exchange was open but banks and financial companies were closed. Today only online traders were operating and volumes were scarce, but Piazza Affari also closed positively.
At the end of the session, the Ftse Mib (INDEX: FTSEMIB) gained 0.2%, finishing at 25,379 points. The rest of the European stock exchanges closed in line with this result. Paris finished up 0.5%, London 0.4% and the German stock market rose 0.2%. Probably the closing in the red of the Chinese stock exchanges negatively weighed on this result. While the slightly upward opening of Wall Street has scarcely affected the squares of the Old Continent.
Piazza Affari closed flat but on the Stock Exchange it won this extraordinary title that many have bought with both hands for months
The rise in oil prices continued today in the wake of the improvement in expectations on European economic growth. However, oil stocks took a break. Thus, today Interpump set up fireworks among the top 40 titles on the Milanese list. The company made a major acquisition, the most significant in its history.
This operation liked the market that awarded the title. Interpump has been rising sharply on the stock market for months. Indeed, to be more precise since March of last year. Since then it has closed all but two months positive. The prices closed the month of April 2020 at around 26 euros. Today the stock finished at 49.9 up by 6.3% after reaching and exceeding the threshold of 50 euros. In 13 months the stock market value has doubled.
So today Piazza Affari closed flat but on the Stock Exchange it won this extraordinary title that many have bought with both hands for months. The title is at an all-time high and one wonders how long it can run. The analysis finds that exceeding 48 euros, after several weeks of attempts, has put the price in turbo.
The jump to 50 euros is a prelude to a new bullish acceleration. Exceeding 50 euros will result in prices running up to 60 euros. The gap opened in today’s session could be closed in the coming days. The important thing is that the stock does not fall below 48 euros. In this hypothesis, the bullish phase will find a stop and prices will fall towards 44 euros.
