Vaccini, Sardinia evaluates the Poste platform for reservations

The Sardinia Region evaluates Poste Italiane as for the booking of anti-Covid vaccines.

The technical structure of the Department of Health will participate tomorrow in a meeting with the leaders of the Post Office, who will illustrate the booking platform already used by seven other Regions, lastly Lombardy after the chaos with the regional company Aria.

It was the Commissioner for the Emergency during today’s visit to the island who recommended the use of the post office: “General Figluolo says it saves resources and reduces bureaucracy”, explained Councilor Nieddu. In essence, it allows you to employ fewer staff.

Which could be useful, given that, observes Nieddu, “we have three open fronts: checks in ports and airports, screening and vaccinations, and the resources are what they are”.

On the island, a system of adhesion to the vaccination campaign is currently active on a regional platform, with subsequent call of the operators to fix the appointment. At this time, the over 80s, school staff and citizens without pathologies born in 1943, 1943 and 1944 can join.
