On November 2, the tax authorities will start with the collection of debts before Covid. Taxpayers will be required to pay at least one of the unpaid previous installments.
The truce for taxpayers is over. After blocking the collection of folders paid in installments following the Covid 19 pandemic, on 2 November the operations of the Tax Authority it will start again in full swing. In this way, pending payments will be requested with the payment of at least one of the installments. We remind you that the suspension period referred to is between on 8 March 2020 and 31 August 2021. The deadline for the interruption of collection is set for 31 October but falling on Sunday and being a holiday on 1 November, the activity of the Revenue Agency will restart day 2.
Collection of the tax bills, what will happen on November 2nd
Starting from November 2, taxpayers will have to start paying regularly old installments remained dormant for a long time. It is not necessary to proceed immediately with the payment of all eighteen scheduled installments. The payment of only one of them to be added to the folders scheduled for the months of September and October 2021.
Respecting the directive is essential in order not to fall into the forfeiture of installments. In the same way, those who have not managed to respect the deadlines of last September 30 will be eligible for the extension plan. The important thing is that the position is regularized within on October 31st (also in this case postponed to November 2nd).

The details of the very long decadence
Taxpayers who have previous installments from March 2020 and suspended following the pandemic will be able to take advantage of the so-called very long decadence. The regularization of the plan must not be immediately complete and the loss of the advantage of the extension you will have only by proceeding with the non-payment of 18 installments and no longer 10 even if not consecutive. Contributions in arrears must therefore be paid soon while the payment of the bills due in September and October will be paid.
We also remind you that the suspension period began on February 21, 2020 for all subjects residing in the red areas. Consequently, the installments to be paid are 19. Furthermore, the installments granted after 8 March 2020 will not be able to count on the very long forfeiture of 18 months but on that increased to 10 months.
