Griante Cadenabbia, change of ownership for the historic hotel

One of the flagships of the Como hotel changes ownership. The Grand Hotel Britannia Excelsior, with 285 rooms overlooking the lake, passes from the hands of Whieldon Ross Stacey and his wife Doriana Luchina to those of the Bain Capital Credit joint venture with Omnam Group, a well-known British American fund. The news was confirmed in La Provincia by the same owners who will continue to hold the Bazzoni di Tremezzo in their own hands. The Britannia will become a 5-star hotel. (M. Pal.)
