Mourning in Valsesian entrepreneurship. Piero Angelo Comero, the coffee industrialist, died at the age of 94. He was the founder in 1950 of the “Caffè Comero”, in Romagnano Sesia, a roasting company that had established itself throughout Italy for the quality of the product.
In 2004 the firm had obtained the recognition of «Piedmont artisan excellence»; Comero blends, particularly valuable, are sold above all to the most prestigious cafes and restaurants. In recent years Comero, joined by Rita and Gaudenzio, had also launched the coffee liqueur or coffee beans covered with chocolate.
