Nutkao, the Canove di Govone company leader in the production of creams and chocolates for third parties, announces the acquisition of Antichi Sapori dell’Etna, a company from Bronte, Sicily, specialized in the production and transformation of pistachio. The operation takes place a few days after the Belgian Boerinneke joined the group and is part of a production and distribution expansion plan that will allow Nutkao to well exceed 250 million in total turnover, positioning itself among the most important European companies in its sector. of activity.
Antichi Sapori dell’Etna was born in Bronte in 2002 from the initiative of Vincenzo Longhitano and Nino Marino. In a few years the company has transformed itself from a pastry shop to a reality that today counts on 70 hectares of pistachio groves on the slopes of Etna, two production plants and a distribution in 52 countries with a turnover that exceeds 55 million euros. The Sicilian company has a strong specialization and dedicated brands for each commercial channel: Pistì, a leading brand in large-scale distribution alongside Vincente, with a selection aimed at specialists in the gourmet sector, Madero Pastry and Madero Quality, which offer semi-finished products for pastry high-end and for the industry.
