Invimit Sgr, a company wholly owned by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, offers for sale to individuals and investors approximately 474 properties including homes, shops and offices, of which 21 are land-based assets, for a value of over 155 million euros which will go to the reduction of the Italian public debt.
The 2021 auction for the sale of properties covers the entire national territory: the properties, residential and commercial, are distributed in 33 cities. Here are some information and directions for participating in the auction.
Auction houses, which properties can be bought by the state
The properties that can be bought by the state are both residential homes that former commercial establishments or officesi. The auction is part of the broader program of valorisation and disposal of public assets which in the last two years has totaled around 320 million euros in sales.
The properties they can be bought by private citizens or investors. As they explain on the Invimit website: “The offer can be submitted by one or more natural or legal persons. The submission of an offer by more than one person is also allowed, which are understood to be jointly and severally obliged “.

The properties are located in 33 Italian cities: Rome, Milan, Venice, Turin, Florence, Bologna, Pisa, Livorno, Trieste, Treviso, Vicenza, Vercelli, Novara, Padua, Como, Lecce, Sabaudia, Terni, Perugia, Albano Laziale, Alessandria, Arezzo, Brescia, Cremona, Forlì, Tarvisio, Ivrea, Palermo, Udine, Busto Arsizio, Chieti, Mantua and Sassari.
Auction houses, inspections
Those interested in visiting the auction properties can carry out inspections up to 10 days before the deadline: to do so, you need to call center at the toll-free number 800.19.05.69 to make an appointment. A maximum of two people can participate in the inspections, whose details must be provided at the time of booking.
Auction houses, how to bid
The offers are available on the Invimit website in the “Real Estate Showcase” section. By clicking on “fractional units” or “sky-earth units” you can download the technical documentation, the reference price and the regulation for the submission of offers.
The properties can be purchased by private citizens or investors; the documents must be sent to the notary indicated on the site. The price offered for the purchase of the property must be equal to or higher than the sale price indicated in the auction notice. Bids will therefore not be taken into consideration. Once all the bids have been received, a public auction will be held, the date of which will be announced on the Invimit website.
