They are looming new hires for the FIS, one of the largest factories in the Termoli industrial nucleus, which has been expanding rapidly in recent years. The company known as Fabbrica Italiana Sintetici SpA, leader in Italy and among the first in Europe for the production of active ingredients for the pharmaceutical industry, has launched a personal recruitment campaign that involves hiring more than 70 people by 2022.
In recent years there had already been numerous hires in Termoli, after a investment of over 100 million and an expansion of the chemical factory which is in fact one of the factories most desirable by the workers of Lower Molise.
“The research – the company says – is aimed at junior and senior profiles, graduates and graduates, who will be placed in the factories of Montecchio Maggiore (Vicenza), Lonigo (Vicenza), and Termoli (Campobasso). The selected resources will further strengthen the company’s teams engaged in the processes of production of “custom” products (exclusive production on commission of intermediate products, advanced intermediates and active ingredients for pharmaceutical companies that own the patents) and generic products (active ingredients such as tranquilizers, anxiolytics, antibacterials, anticonvulsants, anti-inflammatories, diuretics, analgesics and cardiovascular which are subsequently proposed to the market), for the veterinary market (both generic and custom), and in the provision of integrated services “.
The company then provided some numbers relating to the strong growth of these years, despite the international crisis. “Since 2016, the number of employees has grown by over 40% to reach 1,850 in 2021, with a share of personnel engaged in R&D activity (230 professionals) which places FIS in first place in Europe for its ability to develop research and development projects “.
These are some of the profiles sought: “Laboratory researchers and analysts – a degree in Chemistry, CTF or Pharmacy required, preferably with a Phd; Quality control specialists – a three-year or master’s degree in chemistry is required; Department managers – a degree in chemistry and solid experience in manufacturing chemical pharmaceutical companies is required; Shift bosses – a chemical background and solid experience in manufacturing chemical pharmaceutical companies are required; Commercial operators – a degree in chemistry or engineering is preferable, knowledge of the sector and products required; Multipurpose plant operators – a diploma in chemical expert or a degree in chemistry is required “.
