Ducati, preview of the new DesertX that will be presented in December
At the moment Ducati has released a couple of official images of its new two-wheeler, is Ducati’s first adventure bike (a very raw concept was exhibited at Eicma 2019, an event that finally reopens its doors in complete safety this year). Let’s say that the new DesertX can be considered as a cross between the legendary Ténéré 700 bike and the Africa Twin 1.100, more comfortable and more powerful.
Most likely the power of the 937 cm3 Testastretta will be superior to 100 cavalli. The first photos published by Ducati show a motorcycle with a ‘desert-offroad’ look, double round headlight, high vertical plexiglass taken from the Cagiva Elefant with Ducati engine (of which we remember Orioli’s victory at the Dakar). The aesthetics reflect precisely the motorcycles of the Dakar.
