Piaggio 1 is a light electric scooter for urban commuting, a vehicle that seems to have all the credentials to make its way quickly into the scooter market. In September it arrives in dealerships throughout Italy in both the Piaggio 1 and Piaggio 1 Active versions. The prices will be respectively 2,690 Euros and 3,290 Euros, fc VAT included. The Piaggio 1 is the made in Italy answer to the lightness needs of urban commuting. The project was born around the concepts of agility, practicality and safety. Attention also to design and details with extensive technological equipment, which includes 5.5 ”color digital instrumentation, full LED lights and keyless system.
Piaggio 1 is also Piaggio 1 is pushed by a electric motor integrated in the rear wheel: the moped version (Piaggio 1), with a speed limited to 45 km / h, delivers a power of 1.2 kW, while the motorcycle version (Piaggio 1 Active) mounts a 2 kW unit and arrives at 60 km / h. The declared autonomy (WMTC cycle) is respectively 48 and 66 km, calculated in SPORT mode which become 55 and 85 in ECO mode.
The battery is removable and can therefore also be recharged at home or in the office about 6 hours. Version 1 is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 1.4 kWh and a weight of 10 kg, while the version 1 Active adopts a battery with a greater capacity, 2.3 kWh, for a weight of 15 kg.
Ggreat attention has been paid to light weight (75 kg) and ergonomics: despite its compact dimensions, the saddle-footrest-handlebar triangle follows exactly the proportions of the traditional scooters in the Piaggio range. It is one of the few e-scooters in its category with a compartment under the saddle, capable of holding a full jet helmet. Braking is entrusted, both to the front and to the rear, to a disco da 175 mm. Version 1 Active is equipped with CBS combined braking.
Piaggio 1 is offered in a dual color rangei: Forever Gray, Forever White and Forever Black or the two-tone versions: Sunshine Mix, Arctic Mix and Forest Mix. The colors are available for all versions. The 1 Active version is aesthetically distinguished from the other two by the red friezes on the rear swingarm.
