TRENTO. Starting from today and until December 20, it is possible to apply for the assignment of non-repayable grants for the modernization and redevelopment of economic, artisan or commercial activities.
The public notice prepared by the Economic Development department accompanies the agreement “Support for Trento businesses”, signed in mid-July by the Municipality, Cassa di Trento, Confidi Trentino Imprese and Cooperfidi, which defines the methods of access to low-interest mortgages, and aims to support the continuity of economic activities and encourage new entrepreneurial initiatives.
The contributions are intended for micro-enterprises with operational headquarters in the territory of Municipality of Trento that carry out activities of administration to the public, commercial in itinerant form or retail, artisanal, artisanal service to the person, of agritourism with administration to the public, gyms and indoor sports centers. Those who intend to open a new economic activity in these sectors can also benefit from the grant.
The total sum destined to local entrepreneurs is equal to 700 thousand euros, and is intended to facilitate investment costs, functional to economic activity: interventions aimed at acoustic requalification, costs for building works, masonry, plant adaptation, purchase of machinery, equipment and appliances, sound diffusion systems equipped with audio limiter, purchase of furniture and lighting, adoption / updating of IT equipment.
The concessions are granted in the form of a non-repayable grant to the extent of 60 per cent of the expenditure. The maximum amount of the contribution for each beneficiary is equal to 14 thousand euros, the minimum cost to be admitted to the contribution is equal to 5 thousand euros.
The contribution can also be disbursed for the reimbursement of the costs of acquiring guarantees from Confidi Trentino Impresa or Cooperfidi, including the commissions requested by Mediocredito Centrale for the reinsurance of the Guarantee as well as by other credit institutions that have signed up to the agreement stipulated with the Municipality. . In this case the expenses are reimbursed 100 percent and do not contribute to reaching the maximum amount of the contribution.
Applications for grants can be submitted from 6 September to 20 December, by sending the appropriate application form by e-mail (writing here) indicating the subject: “Application for grants – fund for the support and requalification of the economic activities of the municipality of Trento – year 2021 “.
Grants will be disbursed on the basis of the order in which the request is submitted and until all available resources are exhausted. The full text of the public notice and the application form are published on the Municipality website.
