Easter: empty streets and few people around in Milan – Lombardy

        (ANSA) - MILAN, APRIL 04 - Semi-deserted Piazza Duomo, streets in the center also, streets without traffic and a few more people in the parks: this is how Milan presents itself on the day of the second Easter in the red zone, despite the sun.  Only in the main green areas of the city have Milanese been seen walking while for the rest there are very few people who meet around, as well as the cars that go around the city.
There are also very few initiatives to celebrate Easter, including the mass celebrated in the Cathedral by Monsignor Mario Delpini, archbishop of the city: "I wish you a happy Easter with the blessing of the Lord: may it be a principle of novelty, comfort and encouragement for you. everyone, for whom you will meet, for your loved ones and those who live in your loved ones, even if these days you cannot reach them as you would like ", said the archbishop, concluding the homily for the Easter Pontifical, Monsignor Delpini then brought his greeting at the Easter lunch at the Opera Cardinal Ferrari, an association that welcomes homeless people and people in financial difficulty. Also present was the regional councilor Stefano Bolognini (ANSA).
