Today, Thursday 24 June, there are 36 new cases of Piedmontese who tested positive for covid (equal to 0.3% of 13,877 swabs performed). Of the 36 new cases, 18 were asymptomatic (50%). The total of positive cases thus becomes 366,774 divided as follows on a provincial basis: 29,571 Alessandria, 17,489 Asti, 11,523 Biella, 52,923 Cuneo, 28,253 Novara, 196,314 Turin, 13,730 Vercelli, 12,975 Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, as well as 1,501 residents outside the region, but in charge of Piedmontese health facilities. The remaining 2,495 are under development and territorial assignment.
Hospitalizations and tampons
The number of people admitted to intensive care has decreased compared to yesterday – Wednesday 23 June. In total there are 17 hospitalized (6 less than yesterday). There are 202 inpatients not in intensive care (+2 compared to yesterday). There are 1,048 people in home isolation. The diagnostic swabs processed so far are 5,331,815 (+ 13,877 compared to yesterday), of which 1,742,729 tested negative.
The death of a positive person for the Covid-19 test was reported by the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region, none of which occurred today. The total is therefore 11,694 deceased who tested positive for the virus, divided as follows by province: 1,566 Alessandria, 713 Asti, 432 Biella, 1,454 Cuneo, 943 Novara, 5,588 Turin, 525 Vercelli, 373 Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, in addition to 100 residents outside region, but died in Piedmont.
A total of 353,813 patients healed (+101 compared to yesterday), divided as follows on a provincial basis: 27,908 Alessandria, 16,732 Asti, 11,019 Biella, 51,354 Cuneo, 27,214 Novara, 190,008 Turin, 13,145 Vercelli, 12,584 Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, in addition to 1,435 extra-region and 2,414 under definition.
