The alleged responsible for the murder of a man two nights ago in the street in the center of Rome in Piazzale Appio was stopped by the policemen of the Flying Squad in Naples. The 27-year-old Armenian citizen fled after the stabbing murder of the 41-year-old Iraqi citizen Khaled Bilal Ahmed, of whom he is accused.
The capture, as reported by RomaToday, came after a close investigation based on the acquisition of images from the Apple R-Store cameras framing Piazzale Appio, listening to various witnesses (including Atac employees) and footage of the Rome metro. The motive remains to be clarified. The hypothesis of a settling of scores for drugs appears remote, if not to be discarded since nothing illegal would emerge in the victim’s past.
The dynamics of the murder
Khaled Bilal Ahmed was shot at least four times, including one in the throat and one in the head. From the extrapolated images you can see, among other things, how the victim and the killer, perhaps they also knew each other because from some frames they see each other close, as if they were talking.
