Corvino, the mission is triggered: to Milan to redesign Lecce

Four days on a mission in Milan, for the general manager of the technical area Pantaleo Corvino, who yesterday reached the city of Milan, where he will stay until Thursday, with the intention of closing the circle of some of the negotiations so far. The first is that relating to the acquisition, from Juventus (after the season spent on Empoli) of the 22-year-old striker Marco Olivieri, on 30 June, which is now to be considered positively concluded. In the next few hours, the player will come to Lecce to sign the contract and to undergo medical examinations. The chosen formula is the one on loan, with the right of redemption for the Salento company, which will become an obligation in case of promotion.
Furthermore, Corvino is considering the possibility of keeping 22-year-old Guven Yalcin, who would like to have another chance in Italian football. The Turkish striker, indicated among the youngsters with the most interesting perspectives on the world scene, arrived in the Giallorossi jersey in January, but found little space, also due to a non-optimal physical form, conditioned by the fact that he had, before the ‘arrival in Lecce, Covid-19.

Well, the feasibility of a renewal of Yalcin’s loan from Besiktas is being verified, once again providing for the obligation to redeem a pre-established sum in the hypothesis in which the eleven coached by Marco Baroni centered the jump in A.
Corvino is also taking an interest in two young Danes, striker Wahid Faghir, of Vejle Boldklub, 17 years old for 185 centimeters in height, which at home they compare to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and striker Tobias Bech, 19, of Viborg. Both have a contract expiring on December 31, 2022. Getting to Faghir, whose name in the recent past has been linked to Ajax and Milan, appears complicated, but not impossible.

The track leading to central defensive Bryniar Inga Bjarnason, born in ’99, who is currently playing in the Icelandic top league with KA Akureyri is very hot. The operation could close for 250 thousand euros plus a percentage of the sum that Lecce should obtain in the future in the event of a sale of the boy.
On the front of possible departures, the interest of Crotone, relegated from A, and Ternana, promoted by C, for the 30-year-old defensive central Biagio Meccariello must be recorded. The athlete from Benevento has a contract until June 30, 2022 and could be tempted to change his jersey if he is offered a two-year term to extend his membership. A completely analogous speech must be repeated for the 31-year-old goalkeeper Mauro Vigorito who, after having made the vice-Gabriel for two seasons, in A and B, would like to play. Reggina has had her eyes on him for some time, but she is also considering other roads.
The 29-year-old striker Stefano Pettinari, whose contract expires at the end of the month, is about to sign up for Pisa.
