(ANSA) – ROME, JUN 21 – The municipal administration of Rome has been cited as civilian responsible in the trial that sees five people accused for the serious injury of an 8-year-old child on 28 July 2017 while he was playing inside the Parco della Pace in the area of via Grottarossa. The little boy suffered head injuries after violently falling to the ground due to the collapse of a fence balustrade of the skating rink. According to the prosecution, the injury could have been avoided if signs and signs had been placed so that the use of the plant and access to people were prevented.
Against the defendants the charges are of culpable cooperation in aggravated personal injury and failure to place signals. For the Public Prosecutor of Rome, the skating rink was in a state of neglect and the fence was in precarious conditions. (HANDLE).
