She came out of the coma, breathes autonomously and asked about her son, Mirko. Paola Piras, stabbed on 11 May in Tortolì (Nu) by her ex-partner – who also killed the boy while he was trying to defend his mother – is not yet out of danger and the doctors who assist her in the Nostra Signora della Mercede hospital, in Lanusei, for now they prefer not to tell her that her son is dead.
He was killed by the ex-partner of Paola Piras, a man of Pakistani origin who had not accepted the end of their story and, in the early hours of the morning of 11 May, he entered the house where the young man and the mother, hit the woman with numerous stabs and fatally wounded Mirko.
For over a month Paola Piras was in a coma and, as soon as she woke up, in recent days, she asked where Mirko was. For the woman, the hospital said, the support of psychologists has already been arranged.
