The Italian Stock Exchange today closed the session positively despite several blue chips having after the coupon, penalizing the Ftse Mib.
The aftermath of the meeting continues to be felt on the markets Federal Reserve: the fear is that the monetary policy normalization process will accelerate.
The futures for August delivery on Brent crude oil rose by 0.9% to 73.35 dollars a barrel while the Eurodollar shows a rise of 0.4% to 1.19118.
Borsa Italiana Today, update at 17:40: Ftse Mib turns positive
The first session of the week of the Ftse Mib closed at 25,397.72 points (+ 0.71%) while the BTP-Bund spread marked a red of 2% at 105 basis points.
Exor (+ 0.45%), Pirelli (+ 1.59%), Poste Italiane (-1.54%), Snam Rete Gas (-3.7%), STMicroelectronics (-0.87%), Telecom Italia (-0.12%) and Terna (-3.13%) today detached the coupon.
In addition to the aforementioned Pirelli, the combination of Stellantis (+ 3.38%) and Prysmian (+ 2.79%) pushed the Ftse Mib, with the latter announcing a new $ 900 million order in the US.
CNH Industrial (+0.84) signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the US company Raven Industries, active in precision farming technologies, for $ 58 per share (33.6% premium).
Among the other stories of the day we find the + 8.73% of Banca Ifis after the decision of the shareholders’ meeting of the parent company of transfer the headquarters of the holding in the canton of Vaud (Lausanne), and the -3.23% achieved by Juventus shares in the wake of rumors of capital increase.
Update at 13: Ftse Mib turns positive
At mid-session the Cac40 rises by 0.26%, the Dax advances by 0.62% and the Ftse Mib marks a + 0.47%.
Among the best performances of the blue chip basket are those of Pirelli (+ 2.58%), Stellantis (+ 2.31%) and Prysmian (+ 2%). The latter announced a new $ 900 million order in the US.
Lower earnings for CNH Industrial (+ 0.11%) which signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the US company Raven Industries.
On the full, double-digit increase for Banca Ifis (+ 10.48%) after the decision of the shareholders’ meeting of the parent company of transfer the headquarters of the holding in the canton of Vaud (Lausanne), and -2.42% for Juventus shares in the wake of rumors of capital increase.
A contraction of almost one percentage point for the BTP-Bund spread to 106 basis points.
Future Wall Street: positive opening expected
After the weakness with which the last eighth ended, the first session of the new week on Wall Street should start positively: the derivative on the Dow Jones registers + 0.61%, the one on the S & P500 increases by 0.48% and the Nasdaq futures rose 0.52%.
Update 9:25 am: Ftse flat Eb at start
In London the session of the Ftse100 starts with a -0.22%, the Cac40 marks a -0.61%, the Dax a -0.25% and the Ftse Mib share unchanged at 25,213.24 points (-0.02% ).
The BTP-Bund spread at 107 basis points has also changed little.
In addition to the general weakness of the financial markets, at the start of the week our Ftse Mib is facing the detachment of coupons by big names like Exor (-0.21%), Pirelli (+ 0.22%), Poste Italiane (+ 0.88%), Snam Rete Gas (-0.24%), STMicroelectronics (-1 , 04%), Telecom Italia (+ 1.83%) and Terna (-0.41%).

Tokyo was weak, where the Nikkei recorded -3.29%.
Wall Street: Weekly closing sales
The last session of the week of the Dow Jones ended in the red by 1.58%, the S & P500 closed with a -1.31% and the Nasdaq with a -0.92%.
