It will be used by the victim’s family to oppose the request for dismissal of the case as a suicide. This is the report that was filed by the lawyers Francesco Cangiano and Posto Sena on the death of the Neapolitan gynecologist Stefano Ansaldi, the doctor found dead in via Macchi in Milan last December 19 with a cut in the throat.
According to the coroner Fernando Panarese the hypothesis of suicide is to be excluded. Rather the technical findings filed by the doctor, he reports NaplesToday, put forward the hypothesis that the doctor was killed. The report would show how Ansaldi may have been surprised from behind by someone who would have cut his throat. A man who would have acted with his right hand causing a cut that started from the Adam’s apple and went up to under the right jaw with an upward direction.
A dynamics of the cut that, again according to the expert opinion, could hardly have been achieved by the doctor’s hand if not with an unnatural movement of the wrist. The man’s Rolex watch with the strap still attached was also found on the ground. In addition, the expert explained the cut on the latex glove used by Ansaldi to protect himself from the covid in full pandemic as the consequence of a scuffle engaged with the aggressor.
On the other hand, the Milan prosecutor’s office has a different opinion, which has already requested the filing of the case as suicide, on the basis of the elements collected by the autopsy and by the investigators, who even at first thought of a robbery that ended badly. Ansaldi had collapsed behind the scaffolding of a construction site, in a “blind” spot for municipal cameras. Had there been a killer, however, he would have been caught by the electronic eyes that frame the road, while in the images one would not see anyone leaving that point after Ansaldi’s passage. Another clue: on the knife that killed the 65-year-old there were no traces or fingerprints of any kind and he was wearing latex gloves.
The prosecutor of Naples, in a parallel investigation, is trying to reconstruct the network of relationships of the professional, whose cell phone disappeared into thin air on the day of his death.
