In the last 24 hours in Italy, 1,197 positive cases of coronavirus and 28 deaths due to COVID-19 have been detected. Currently the hospitalized are 2,898 (198 less than yesterday), of which 394 in the intensive care wards (22 less than yesterday) and 2,504 in the other wards (176 less than yesterday). 90,637 molecular swabs and 159,351 rapid antigenic tests were analyzed. The percentage of positive molecular swabs was 1.3 percent, while that of antigen tests was 0 percent. On Friday, 1,143 infections were recorded and 35 died.
The regions that have recorded more cases in the last 24 hours are Lombardy (183), Sicily (183), Campania (139), Calabria (111), Lazio (101).
