Rome, June 18 (Adnkronos) – Primary Sunday in Rome and Bologna, after Turin which has chosen Stefano Lorusso as the center-left mayoral candidate. Gazebos open from 8 to 21 in both cities for ‘face-to-face’ voting, while the deadline for registering with Spid on the platform set up by the organizers has now expired.
In the capital and under the towers, the primary ones have taken on particular, different characteristics. But what unites the vote on Sunday is certainly the turnout issue. Especially after the ‘lukewarm’ response from the Turin voters. The weather, with the first, decided weekend of scorching heat, increases the ‘suspense’ on the number of center-left supporters who will go to the gazebos. The same can be said for the concomitance with Italy-Wales of the European football championships and also with the anti-pandemic regulations, given that we are talking about the first ‘white’ weekend.
In Rome, however, we start from the data of the last primary, those of 2016. “We work to ensure that there is the participation of one more than 40 thousand in 2016”, explained the regional secretary Bruno Astorre. In the capital there are about 250 gazebos, located throughout the city. The outcome of the vote is announced more obvious than in Bologna, with Roberto Gualtieri favored over the other candidates: Cristina Grancio, Imma Battaglia, Giovanni Caudo, Stefano Fassina, Tobia Zevi and Paolo Ciani.
