Quarantine for those arriving from Great Britain: the new ordinance of Hope

The Delta variant is scary. The Minister of Health Roberto Speranza has signed a new ordinance that reintroduces, still to be established since, a 5-day quarantine with the obligation of a swab for those coming from Great Britain, where infections are rising.

In the same ordinance it opens instead to tourists who come from all over Europe, the United States, Canada and Japan with the requirements set by the green pass. It will therefore be enough to be vaccinated with a drug approved by Ema and aifa (Pfizer, Astrazeneca, Moderna or Janssen), to be cured of Covid in the last 180 days or to be negative for an antigenic or molecular swab carried out in the 48 hours prior to the trip.

Again due to the new variant and the infections, the entry ban for those arriving from India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka is instead extended.
